AusDBF is the national governing body for the sport of Dragon Boat within Australia and has created a variety of programs for everyone, from 10 years old and up, to get involved across the country. Your local clubs, and the AusDBF programs, are run by experienced and nationally accredited coaching teams who are all passionate about the sport of Dragon Boat.
What are the options for participation?
Finding your local club is easy as 1, 2, 3... Head to our club finder page to seek out your local Dragon Boat club located within metro or regional parts of Australia.
Our Dragon Pass (Come & Try) program is your chance to give the sport of Dragon Boat a go by utilising a 28 day free trial at any club within Australia.
Our Schools program, known as Dracademy, is great way for your local school to get involved with our great sport through a bespoke introductory program.
Our University program is designed to help establish and build Dragon Boat clubs within Australian universities to compete locally and on the world stage.
Our Disability program, in partnership with Disability Sports Australia (DSA), helps steer our sport towards providing accessibility options for participants with a disability to be involved with our sport through a local club and through national representation as part of our Paradragons pathway.
Finally, our National Team, known as the Auroras, provides every aspiring athlete a north star for something to strive for selection to represent Australia at an international championship.
